"Two years ago, I moved to Castlemaine with a 3 month old baby, I knew no-one locally and needed something to do to keep myself well. I saw a poster for MaCapella and went along. If you'd have told me then that just by showing up to MaCapella sessions regularly, I'd end up with a lovely network of friends, the chance to sing live on stage with two of my favourite artists and a two year old who loves singing, I wouldn't have believed you! But that's what MaCapella has created - a welcoming community, that serves adults and children and with just the right amounts of silly and serious about singing. Turning up that first time, even though I felt shy to sing with others, was a such a great decision!"
